directory listing process

Configure Plugin Settings
Navigate to the plugin’s settings in the WordPress dashboard. Customize listing fields, categories, and general display options.
Create a New Directory Listing
Go to Directory > Add New Listing, enter title, description, contact details, images, and other necessary information, then click Publish.
Enter Listing Details
Fill in fields like title, description, contact information, address, website URL, and images.
Set Listing Categories and Tags
Choose appropriate categories and tags to organize listings for easier searching.
Add Location (if applicable)
If the plugin supports maps (like GeoDirectory), enter the business address to pin it on a map.
Upload Featured Image
Add a high-quality image or logo to make the directory listing visually appealing and professional-looking.
Review and Publish
Verify all listing details, preview for accuracy, and click Publish to make it live on your directory.
Display Directory on a Page
Create a new page (Pages > Add New) and insert the directory plugin’s shortcode (e.g., [businessdirectory]). Publish the page.
