6-Day Calving Season Safari

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and transfer to your accommodation in Arusha. Relax and enjoy a welcome dinner as you prepare for the adventure ahead.

After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Famous for its tree-climbing lions and large flamingo populations, the park offers diverse landscapes, from lush forests to open savannahs. Enjoy a game drive, spotting a variety of wildlife.

Head to the Ndutu region, the heart of the calving season, where thousands of wildebeest give birth. Witness predators like lions, cheetahs, and hyenas in action as they take advantage of the abundant prey. Overnight in a lodge or tented camp.

Spend the day exploring the Ndutu plains, where newborn wildebeest take their first steps. Experience breathtaking predator-prey interactions and large herds grazing against a scenic backdrop. Return to camp for an evening under the African sky.

Travel to Serengeti National Park, where you'll spend four days experiencing the endless plains and abundant wildlife. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives, with the chance to witness the Great Migration (if traveling during the season) and observe the Big Five. Return to Arusha in the evening to relax and share the day’s experiences.

After breakfast, transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight home. Depending on your flight time, you may have a chance for some last-minute shopping or relaxation before your departure.
